World Book Day

World Book Day this year is on Thursday 5th March. The school council have spoken to their classes and the children have voted for what they would like to do to celebrate it this year. The children have decided that they would like to come to school dressed as an adjective. This can be any costume that reflects a describing word - be as creative as you like! If your child already has a book character costume in mind, then they could still use this and think of a word that associates with that character. For example, Harry Potter could be “courageous” or “magical”. Own clothes is also an option if your child would prefer this. We look forward to seeing the children’s fabulous outfits!
